KORLA PANDIT One of television's most exotic figures, Korla Pandit was a celebrity of sorts in the 1950s via a Southern California television show (also syndicated to other parts of the country) that featured his organ playing. Wearing a turban and never speaking, Pandit simply performed on a Hammond B-3 organ while staring into the camera, embellishing his riffs with touches of the Far East and (to a much lesser degree) Latin music. Presented here are five of his television shows from 1955. Shows Theme Song: Song Of India. Song presented include: The Waltz Of The Flowers, Temptation, Beautiful Stranger, Dark Eyes, Orchids In The Moonlight, In A Persian Market, None But The Lonely Heart and many more. 62 minutes b/w VHS DVD 10% discount on 3 or more shows www.encorehomevideo.com 1 (989) 652-969 |
