THE FLORIAN ZaBACH SHOW

1955. Syndicated.

Discovered in 1950 on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scout Program, he regularly appeared on many TV shows. Then in 1955 his own series.  Technique and showmanship made him a hit in clubs. His smash hit was "Hot Canary', a jazzed- up version of a European tune, used harmonic overtones produced by touching the strings lightly instead of pressing them firmly. It was no. 13 in the top hits in 1951, selling a million copies for Decca Records.

Songs include: William Tell Overture; Let's Fall In Love. A Frankenstein Skit, Zim, Bam, Boom, Fiddling For Fun, Nola, None But The Lonely Heart, Orchids In The Moonlight, Chicago, Chicken Reel and many, many more.

108 minutes. b/w.
