Duffy's Tavern ran on radio from 1940 to 1951. It starred Ed Gardner who also created the series, as Archie the manager of the rundown bar and grill in New York City. Alan Reed played the dim-witted Finnegan. Jimmy Conlin as the Waiter.

Character actors include John Dousette and George Chandler.
