CHARLIE'S HAUNT

A special Technicolor treat from 1950 for fans of Charlie McCarthy and his sidekick Edgar Bergen. The story line concerns safety on the job and at home. The careless people in a small town are haunted by the ghost of Charlie McCarthy when they put themselves in potential danger, until they can't stand it anymore. This safety film was directed with entertainment value by Robert Florey who's credits include over 60 features ranging from the Marx Brothers in The Coconuts through Bela Lugosi in Murders In The Rue Morgue.

Besides Mortimer Snerd, veteran character actors Don Wilson, Richard Travis, Olin Howlin and Noreen Nash appear.

Treat #2 is their comedy routine from STAGEDOOR CANTEEN.

Finally treat #3 is selected highlights from LETTER OF INTRODUCTION. The feature had a secondary story line that mirrors the true story of Edgar Bergen's rise to fame.
