Supernatural Drama. All black production. Made in 1928 it has been called one of the Best African American Films of the Silent Era.

The Maurice Film Company, founded by Richard Maurice, released three films that were produced and directed by Maurice, who also had a starring role in each. The company was located in Detroit, Michigan. ELEVEN P.M. was filmed at various locations in the black community of Detroit. The film carries a strong moral message indicating that Maurice was probably a deeply religious person. From the Library of Congress preservation.
